So charming yet dressy looking is this vintage black suede handbag or pocketbook, with large sized lucite clasp, circa 1940s. 

The Art Deco cocktail bag consists of a soft black leather suede, with quilt style chevron design in front (see pic 1) while plain in back (pic 2), along with double handles, gold toned frame, and large kissing clasp with clear carved lucite knobs in acorn shapes.

The bag is fully lined within and has an inner pocket divided into two, along with an attached change purse as shown.

It measures approximately 8&1/2 inches wide at its widest point by 7 inches high, from frame to base (excluding clasp).
